Where Did the Mongols Go?

I’m super excited to announce that my article on Chinggis (Genghis) Khan was chosen to appear in the East Bay Historia Spring 2023 edition. The essay is titled “Where Did the Mongols Go? How Chinggis Khans’ Legacy Was Erased Via a Racialized and Colonizing Discourse.”

After writing about the Renaissance and Middle Ages, I became interested in the Mongol empire, but quickly discovered that there are a lot of false stereotypes about who the Mongols were, what they did, and how they did it.
